Old Lady Shade

The awakened streets of 2084 are a dark, twisted, mysterious maze to navigate. Especially for London, the sprawl we call the Smoke. Who or what is Old Lady Shade? Old Lady Shade is by many considered to be a legend. Just something to tell young people to keep them on the straight and the narrow path. The story goes like this; every so often a young couple, a married pair, or a tart card girl with her client for the  night  would be found passed out and exhausted in the morning. Where ever it was they were wanting to have a bit of the old in out in out. 
Of course the millicents, rozzies, grey boys or police as you might call them did not quite show the proper concern that they should have. At least not until a few of the "right" people were affected. Then they started an investigation into the drug scene. Thinking it was the  newest party enhancer they started an investigation to soothe the  minds of the upper crust. We think  as usual  that several false arrests were made with evidence planted to look right and proper.
This did  not stop things from happening though. The few reports that mentioned a suspect always described the person as being a beautiful elderly woman. A grandmother if you will who would watch over the  couple as they engaged with each other under the covers. Those who made reports were of the lower classes. It was as if Old Lady Shade had decided to avoid the well to do.
Old Lady Shade made an appearance in Bayswater where she drained several tarts girls working out of the old Averard Hotel, in a section called Trixie's. The other businesses inside are the club The Octopus Garden which caters to changelings and the Jacks casino. The Jacks security features the use of astral cameras that detected Old Lady  Shade as she entered. This identified her as some sort of spirit. 
Old  Lady Shade appears to be a type of spirit called a shadow. Shadow spirits being those that feed upon emotional energy. As a shadow Old Lady Shade will use any means necessary to cause  people to engage in  the  desired emotion she wishes to feed upon. Most often she will cause the most negative aspects to be brought forth in her victims. 
So to avoid Old Lady Shade, it is best to ask your parents for permission before fooling around. It's those that sneak about that the Lady likes  more.
