Trolls

Trolls are nigh unstoppable murder machines. As one of the largest races on average being ten to twelve feet tall and weighing an average of fifty stone, trolls can inflict terrible damage upon anyone unfortunate enough to be in battle with them. Not all trolls are stupid beasts either, some are touched with divine grace and evoke miracles, others wield arcane magics. Also one never knows what traits a troll might have when one encounters one.
Trolls have their traits like any other race. An individual troll might have only one or some mixture of several. These are them as best I know.
Regeneration; Trolls can regenerate wounds, some slowly others quick. It does not matter what you hit them with either. Steel, fire, alchemy, trolls heal all of it.
Toxic secretions; Trolls can excrete a vile slime from pustules on their skin that burns if it touches you. It is also said that if it gets into your eyes that you will go blind. 
Fetid breath; A  troll mouth is a vile thing and some trolls can exhale a cloud of putrid air that will leave you retching and  those of a weaker constitution vomiting. 
Stretchiness; Some trolls are said to have soft bones. These trolls can force themselves into places that would otherwise be too small for them to get into. 
Abnormal strength; There are trolls that are much stronger than others of their kind. Some as strong as giants, a few perhaps even greater. Fortunately these are said to be the dumbest of the lot and easily led along by pretty things.
Rotten guts; Some trolls can  eat the vilest of things. Any carcass they find no matter how old will give them nourishment. 
Hound scent; Trolls have been known to track their prey and foes simple by sniffing along the ground like a hound. The sages say they can only pick up on a scent living or dead, they cannot tell if what they happen to detect is man, elf, dwarf or another race or creature.
Puzzle traps; Few trolls have been observed doing this. It would seem that select trolls have an uncanny ability to create traps for the unwary. More often than not these are also the trolls that have arcane gifts.
Litter fertility; Some trolls when mating with other trolls give birth or cause their mate to give birth to four or more young at a time. Also these trolls can appear to be attractive to other races enough that half-trolls have been given birth too. Once and rarely a troll is born with this gift so great that he or she can bring the various familial groups together and act as a king or queen of the trolls.
Keratinous growth; Often the skin of trolls will develop extra think layers that give them what amounts to extra armor. 
As you can see trolls are a horrible vile race. If only someone would finish them off once and for all.
