Sandy Springs

Sandy Springs was a pre-war town on the northern side of the 285 loop. The area has had some form of inhabitants since approximately 400 CE due to the freshwater springs the town was named for. Over the years between the 1800s and today, a gold rush occurred putting the town officially on the map. Then the 285 and 400 roads connected the town directly to the heart of Atlanta downtown making Sandy Springs an alternative to living downtown keeping the area changing over the years.     Since the war, the town is sparsely inhabited many areas abandoned but the area that connects it to the Loop is a popular crossing area of the Loop.
