Republic of Banff

Founded by survivors in the town of Banff after the bombs dropped, the Republic seeks to expand their influence beyond the tiny mountain towns they call home.

• Larger government body based out of the Town of Banff
• Having trouble expanding east due to the warzone that is Calgary
• Western Expansion has been relatively easy thanks to the limited bombing that occurred within the Rockies.
• Anywhere outside of a settlement or major trade route is still quite dangerous due to raiders and the wildlife.
• The current federal leadership has been the topic of a number of corruption rumours and allegations of embezzling funds from the people of Banff. Little has been done in the way of justice or even investigations however, as many higher ups come from influential families.
• Ghouls receive the same rights as any other citizens.
• Supermutants are met with suspicion but not outright exterminated as they would be in many other areas.
• Robots are not officially considered sentient by the government.
