Deckannima

Colloquially known as "Hunters": an artificial race of tall, slender canines spawned from magicked decks of playing cards. As a silent and cooperative slave species to Great House Solens Arc and Great House Monolith, they are often utilized for their anti-magic specialty as clean-up crews in the wastelands. Some however do serve as legitimate Hunters of magic, be it monsters or users, an occupation that earned them their aforementioned nickname among the general public. They are rarely seen, and have a very short life expectancy, but are known to be impatient and brooding. Great House Solens Arc had even go so far as to announce cautionary warnings when attempting to interact with Hunters, stating that it may very well lead to your death, and are not responsible for loss of life or limb should you seek them.
