Festival of Romp
History
The Festival of Romp is the tradition that predated Rompus. This tradition begin with every orcish clan's Warchief, and all members of the clan are expected to participate.
While every clan had a Warchief, the Festival itself could be quite different from each other. Depending on the clan each Festival had varying rules, traditions, and dates; but all followed a general flow with the start and end of the Festival.
The most common rules were:
- The Festival lasted no longer than a full day.
- The Festival begins with the Warchief's blessing, and the most common "blessing" would be defecation at the location of the Festival.
- All Orcs were to partake in the festival.
- Any Orc was allowed to challenge the Warchief to a romping match for the Warchief title.
- Never stop romping.
