Mirroring

One of Great House Vertinal's illusory pride and joys, and perhaps one of their most versatile exports. Mirror technology is designed to create mirror images of whatever material or item they are tasked to copy, forging two virtually identical copies save for the fact that one is pure Illusion particulate and the other is real. For many employments of Mirroring, that is as far as it goes: a simple illusory copying machine. For other more "advanced" variants, it may even go so far as to mimic the original's mechanical capabilities, or even magic itself. However, they become increasingly unstable as the Illusion grows in size and complexity, being very easily dispelled should the Mirror not be able to resist.
