Dr. Lee is the adoptive father of Marc , the biological father of Harley, and the husband of Tanya.

Physical Appearance

Dr. Lee is an older asian man with pale skin and an average build. He is nearly in his 50's and has short, thinning, salt and pepper hair and a few wrinkles on his face. He has to wear glasses and has narrow, dark brown eyes. Because he works a lot he is usually wearing his medical scrubs and lab coat, but on his days off he wears polo shirts and khakis.

Biography

Jeoung-Hui was born and raised in South Korea with his parents Soon-ja and Young-Ho Lee. He was known to be very studious and hard working in school, and studied quite a bit. He moved to the US to go to med school, and eventually got his doctorate in pediatrics. While working as a pediatrician in New Bridge, he met Tanya, a social worker that he encountered a lot during his job. The two hit it off quickly and got married a few years later.
Jeong and Tanya tried for a few years to have a child of their own with out any luck, but one day, Jeong was assigned to examine a toddler brought in by the police that had been abandoned at the station. He was immediately intrigued by the child, as they had strange elf-like ears and hair that grew in a natural lavender hue. Even the child's DNA was strange. Dr. Lee become the child's general practitioner while the police tried to search for his parents. When they failed to find them, the child was taken into custody of the state as an orphan.
That's when he and his wife decided to adopt the child themselves. On the child's first day home, they couple received a mysterious package. The package contained a box of pictures of the child with a similarly lavender haired, pointed eared woman, a few memento's and a letter explaining who the child was, that he was an elven boy named Markail, and that his biological parents have perished. Unsure of what to make of the package, they hid the box away and renamed the child 'Marc'.

Dr. Lee treated Marc like his own son, but opted to do most his check ups and medical treatment himself, as he wanted to study Marc's odd biology as he grew up. His reputation allowed him to hand wave Marc's eccentricities as birth defects and rare genetic disorders to anyone who asked. When Marc was 6 years old, the couple were finally able to conceive a child of their own, a baby girl they named Harley.
Despite loving both his children, Dr. Lee's job keeps him out late most of the time, leaving him not a lot of time to spend with his family. This could be why as Marc has become an adult, their relationship has grown more distant.
