Doggraves Three Houses
House Sanguine is one of the 3 major houses of Doggrave, ran by the town's small but thriving Vampire population. They tend to hold meetings in a large manor to the North of the town, the manor is opulent, as is the case with all things they do. It is full of servants who have been promised to be turned one day as a reward for all they work they do, not one is yet to be actually turned.
The house tends towards a simple rule - the more expensive something is, the better it is. To the point that they can come across as a bit tacky. They host grand galas and balls all year round, and are the hosts of the town's main night culture.
They're headed by Count Lastat, a pompous vamp with a taste for the finer things in unlife. House Sanguine think themselves the best ad fully believe that as a house, they are unbeatable. So they tend to leave hunters alone in the streets until they prove themselves to be a threat
Vampires of course hate sunlight, running water, salt, garlic, and can't enter places without permission.
Next in the houses is "The Wolf Pack" - which are hardly a house, more of a tight-knit, anyone can join, family. They take up the largest portion of Doggrave and will take most living folks under their wing, claiming they have some type of "-thropy" for protection.
Their part of town is nice enough a few trees, simple houses, some shops and trade, a normal town, simply because 90% of the time members of this house are just normal people. Granted, a lot of houses are fitted out with strong supports and basements for those who wish to "chain their inner beast" when the moons up.
The heads of the household, the true "Pack" are fairly well known hunters, skilled at gathering meat and fur. They help tend to a lot of medical problems that arise within the town, be they from bites and scratches from other citizens or issues that come from being assumed undead.
Were-beings of all kinds are all weak to silver and the moon/other Lunar influences.
Finally, there's the Undead Union (it's only really like 5 members the rest are kind of mindless) made up of skeletons, ghosts, zombies, the type of undead that get risen, put down and forgotten about. They have little necromancer support, with some even meeting the union's demands.
The section of Doggrave they call theirs is very well maintained, the roadways are kept clean so they're easier to shamble on, they have a plethora of cared for gardens, specifically used to put flowers on graves.
The union calls to represent "all those raised without a wage". Headed by a necromancer, turned skeleton, turned Lich and a few ghosts who's unfinished business tends to align with ensuring good workplace practices, and of course any undead within the city walls they'll claim as having paid their union dues. Physically they are the weakest of the 3 houses, but in sheer numbers they dwarf the rest. They tend to be the group that'll venture outside Doggrave, mostly through just wandering out
This type of undead can be taken out in many ways, blessed water, exorsism, fire, just hitting them really hard.
