Khasmal

Khasmal is the motherland of the mammalian races of Far, appropriately named Khasmalians. Little is known about the land, as they've locked their ports to most outsiders for anything but the occasional trade. Some believe that the talk of war between Oria and Dinma around 989 loosened their landlocked state in an attempt to provide aid to their offshore brethren.
If it wasn’t for Khasmal’s low elevation, the continent would likely have a climate similar to the chilly valleys of Teyl. As it stands, Khasmal is a temperate land that edges on the cold side, often seeing plenty of snow when winter comes. As a consequence of its low elevation, Khasmal is no stranger to typhoons, oceanic flooding, and tsunamis.
