The Beyond

The Beyond is a name given to the energy that - to this day - remains unobtainable by any single individual, including the gods themselves. The exception to this includes a few items that utilize The Beyond to achieve specific goals, which anyone can use under the right conditions.
The Wizards of The Beyond theorized that The Beyond is the energy that created the laws of the universe. Everything that retains a sense of restriction for the sake of understanding and achieving that which is possible, is The Beyond. Some believe that another artifact that uses such power is none other than the Deck of Many Things.
To call The Beyond magic is overly simple. The Beyond is what fuels everything; not only the magic that flows through the Weave but the very energy that grants power to all beings. A barbarian’s rage, a fighter’s prowess, and a rogue’s cunning are all enhanced by The Beyond.
