The Stone of Divine Bargaining
To enact stone’s effects, one must offer the stone to a Greater Deity, who will shatter it into several pieces; shortly after, the deity will achieve something that they deeply desire. This desire could take the shape of a material object, the soul of an important person, a new surge of power… Anything you could (or could not) think of is possible.
As a tradeoff, the one who presented the stone may choose to abolish any action of any divine being. You could erase a time when the deity killed someone you loved, prevent the creation of a magical artifact, or undo a curse laid upon a particular race of bird people. Once the trade is complete, it cannot be undone by any power; even that of a god.
Legend says that the stone, once shattered, will appear once more on the surface of Far within a year. To avoid unwanted detection, the shards seem mundane, even when inspected with Detect Magic or Truesight. Once all pieces of the stone come together, it automatically reforms.
