Blackfin
A Sunken Life
Many a sailor has heard the tales of Travis "Blackfin" Jones. The once mighty naval officer of Vilespew and the Ironhook in general, turned harbringer of shipwrecks.The Blackfin is said to be shark-like in appearance and wielding a large anchor as his weapon of choice. A voice low and growling and teeth sharp enough to tear the limbs from anyone, unlucky enough to meet him.
Seabound Crew
As a ship is about to sink, and as any sailor would be praying their voices soar, to secure a place in any form of afterlife, that is when the Titan's Tear rises through the seafoam.Blackfin will find the soon-to-be untimely dead seafarer and ask the question that haunts most traveling the open waters;
"Have ye paid for thy debts?"As the sailor soils their pants, they most often answers; "No". This is when the second question is asked.
"Do ye wish to sail?"
If the sailor says no, it is said they will be killed by drowning. If they say yes, they will join the Blackfin's crew and sail with him till they are disposed of...
Fleeing The Blackfin
Although terrifying, the Blackfin seems to be bound to the sea and has never been seen on landThe same cannot be said for his crewmen though, as they have ravished many seaside towns and ports. The crewmen are all said to resist the touch of death, and no guardsman has ever successfully killed a man of the Titan's Tear.
