Iados

Shade Iados

A scoundrel born in the Tiefling slums of Monrett, Iados got into trouble with The Council and was sentenced to aid the Vox Auxillitorium whenever they reached the Shattered Isles. After making a deal with the Lizardman Karif to teach him metaphors in order to stay alife, Iados joined the newly named Wayfinders and was instrumental in rising a new continent from the sea. Joining The Council's Intelligence Commitee, Iados now serves as spy - still an opportunistic bugger, yet reaping the benefits of allegiance...

Clearing Up the Mess

The first thing I hear when stumbling out of Baqara's wagon was the sound of a bird being strangled. Turns out I was wrong. It was just Karif trying to summon a hippogriff. No time to hang around, though. I left the croc with Ghostboy and went with Baqara to see what happened left of the crater. I'm not gonna lie to ya, mates - it wasn't pretty. A lot of people were just lying around hurt, so I rushed them into Baqara's wagon while he was talking with some of his Minotaur friends. All went well until parts of the Keep floating above us came crashing to the ground. I remember looking out of the window back in the wagon as a whole bloody tower - with that prick Tyre Summit inside of it - came crashing to the ground. I asked Baqara if I could go check on it, but he wanted Geist to tag along with me. Shame, would have loved to confront the bastard alone, but turns out there wasn't much left of him. Heck, I did not like the man, but even I wouldn't want him to go out like that. That wasn't the only surprise, though. His son was still alive! Geist healed his wounds - which apparently he can do now? - and we urged him to go rest with other wounded, but he just waddled out to help other people, scarred up and everything. Man, I have to respect that from a silver spoon human. When we come back, things are pretty daft. Valok has apparently disappeared into this tiny amulet thing, a girl named Eleanor goes around burning bodies, a shifty Half-Orc refuses to answer our question, but most importantly - Baqara gets a call from his surrogate lass, Ariana, telling him goodbye and begging him not to confront him. I feel awfully sorry for the bull - it broke his bloody heart - but according to Adam, something was a tad off about that call. It was like she was trapped on another dimension - yeah, I'll roll with it - but the call came through mysteriously clear. Baqara has done so much for the whole lot of us. I think I owe him one by looking into this thing.

Castle in the Clouds

So, long time, no see. Been a while. Been busy setting up my Dens - but it was nice seeing the croc and the others again. Who'd have thought? A bloke named Tyre Summit was on his way - one of Monrett's finest - so I thought I'd ask some of my mates in the Den if they knew anything. And boy, did they have some juicy news about what Summit had been up to behind enemy lines... if you catch my drift ;) Baqara was kind of busy, so I tried persuating the croc to make a fool out of Summit if need be so I wouldn't look like a bloody idiot alone - I think I made somewhat of a deal with him. Anyway, Summit was every part the silver spoon, stuck-up prick I thought he'd be - sending his son to sniff out the premises like a lap dog, marching into the throne room like he owned the bloody place, and asking Ghostboy to stop doing his thing. Reminded me of all the self-righteous pricks back in Monrett. I bit my tongue and entered a somewhat civil discussion with him. He didn't seem to like me mentioning old Gerald, but hell, what do I care. Later, we reconviened in Baqara's wagon. I dropped the bombshell, thinking we'd be about to do some lovely, but discrete blackmailing when all of the sudden Valok bloody explodes! When my eyes have stopped hurting and I could see again, Baqara's castle is bloody floating! Why do I hang out with these mates?
