Oelia

Oelia (pronounced O-lia) is the goddess of magic. She is popular only amoung those that practice magic. Unlike many of the other gods she is not the only god many of her worshipers pray to. In fact, to the majority of her worshipers, she is not the main god they pray to. She is one of the more active gods in term of interactions with mortals, and all signs point to her being okay with playing second fiddle to other gods. In fact, it seems she enjoys having the freedom to focus on other endavours, rather than worry about the whims of mortals. She often appears as a studious looking dark skinned human woman. She often wears wizard robes of purple with gold trim. Her hair matches her robes and is kept pinned back and short. Her eyes are completely one color, matching both her hair and robes. It is said that her eyes turned that color from an experiement in magic gone wrong.
