(Location) Levinas

Levinas (201 AQ - 488 AQ, 519 AQ - ) was a country on the eastern coast of Farrah. It split off from Farrah in 201 AQ after Dragons destroyed much of the western part of the country. The revolution was lead by Welby the Great (TS) who established a monarchy and whose descendants ruled the country.
Levinas has a halfling upper class and a human and gnome lower class. It waged several wars with the Elves in Correlon. In 483 AQ Levinas, angered by repeated raids by the elves, invaded and sacked their capital city in a surprise attack. They returned with many elven aftifacts of which they had little understanding. In the raid they stole both the Crystal of Power and the Sword of the Vetala.
In 487 AQ the capital city of Kristallnacht was quarantined by the ruler of Levinas, Samudai Hellstrom, in response to a zombie outbreak. In 488 AQ Farrah invaded the country and occupied it. Weakened by the loss of their capital city, Levinas could offer little resistance. Hellstrom fled into hiding and the country ceased to meaningfully exist in 488 AQ.
The Farran occupation was weakened by their war in the west as part of the Triple Alliance. The collapse of Wells Fargo and subsequent financial ruin also led to troop reductions in Levinas.  In 519 AQ an angel with black hair delivered the Sword of Levinas to Sara Lackmore. Lackmore used the sword to unite those factions opposing Farrah and overthrow Lord Galahar. 
Lackmore drove out the occupying Farrans and declared a once more independent Levinas. As the heir apparent of Welby the Great she took her place as Baron of Levinas.

Levinas sought to protect the wealth of the eastern people and avoid it being taken from them to support those in the west who lost everything to Dragon attacks. Levinans believed the distant seat of Kimbol should not demand taxation with so little perceived benefits.
