(NPC) Aeneas the Dragonslayer
Aeneas the Dragonslayer (42 BQ to 0 BQ) was a Farran Prince, military general, and founding King who played a critical role in the victory of the lesser races in the Dragon Wars.
Aeneas was born Prince of the Solfar Princedom, and demonstrated extraordinary arcane and martial skills. Even with superhuman powers he was unable to protect his people from the Dragons. To increase his powers Aeneas hired a thief, Autolycus, to steal a powerful magical artifact from the nation of the Gith. Autolycus stole the Crystal of Will and presented it to Aeneas. In 18 BQ Aeneas the Dragonslayer began to travel the lands of Farrah and conquer the various independent Princedoms that existed.
With the Crystal of Will in his possession, Aeneas wielded unparalleled power. He formed The Companions, a group of magically enhanced heroes who fought beside him.Where they strode strode the Dragons retreated, but The Companions could not be everywhere. Across the world the dragons continued their quest to wipe out all lesser life. Aeneas forged an alliance of Elves, Gnomes, and Men. Together they launched a desperate assault on Mount Quarinth, where Unos the Dragon God slept.
They fought their way to the top in what has since become known as the Battle of Mt Quarinth. At the top Aeneas began using the Crystal of Will to cast a spell to slay Unos. Before the spell could be completed Aeneas' companion, Forticus, stabbed him with a cursed blade, killing the King. The spell was left incomplete, and Unos survived, but was put into a deep sleep. Due to Unos' bond the rest of the world's dragons crawled beneath the earth and hibernated.
Aeneas the Dragonslayer saved the peoples of the world and forged the great nation of Farrah.
