(NPC) Anthony Darrow

Anthony Darrow (445 AQ - ?) is a Farran human academic, explorer and treasure hunter.
Darrow studied the history of dragons at Siena. He became an expert on the Dragon Hunts lead by King Elemerend from 50AQ- 54 AQ. In 496 Darrow was recruited by Lamar Auralias to travel to the Atuk Islands and retrieve a clutch of dragon eggs. Darrow hired a number of combat and navigational experts including Jasin Natael.
The expedition was a mixed success, they retrieved 3 blue dragon eggs and returned them to Auralias' ally, Occam. 3 members of the expedition and one hostage they had taken were left behind on the island. Only Darrow and Natael escaped.
Darrow, made wealthy by the journey and also having faced a likely death, returns to Siena and lived a quiet academic life. In 508 AQ he provided The Dragon Chasers a map of the island, and a warning not to go there.
Darrow continued to work and teach at Siena into his old age. In 519 AQ Darrow's son, Samuel Darrow, went missing. Shorly afterward Darrow vanished from his office in Siena. He was seen in a vision by the Queen's Blade being interrogated by The Vetala, which sought information on Atuk Island. Anthony Darrow has not been seen since.
