(NPC) Commander Cyrus Hayden

Cyrus Hayden (458 AQ - 518 AQ) was a soldier and military leader in Farrah. Born in 458 AQ in Chintin, Hayden joined the Farran Military and became a Captain. His first major campaign was the invasion of Levinas in 488 AQ. Hayden's unit was tasked with capturing the lightly defended town of Teutoberg. There he met and recruited the Advengerers (PC group) for a special mission.
The Advengerer's success in scouting Kristallnacht proved to be Hayden's success also. The campaign in the east boosted his own career and he rose to the rank of Commander. Hayden befriended Lord Winterby and was posted to Quisling. Hayden married Julia Farwalker in Quisling and had a child, Gath Hayden. Gath followed his father's footsteps and joined the Farran military, commanding the Almat Fort to the east of the city.
Commander Hayden was on Almaren Island when the Phoenix's to destroy the Tower of Ecthelion was prevented by the B Team (PC Group).
Commander Hayden was integral in the defence during the Siege of Quisling. After the battle Commander Hayden learned that his son Gath had died defending the walls of the city. Stricken at the loss of his family and so many civilians, Hayden resigned from the army. During the subsequent revolution in the city an angry mob entered his home, dragged him out into the street and hanged him.
