(NPC) Queen Esmerelda

Queen Esmerelda (469 AQ - ) is a politican and Queen of Farrah. Esmerelda lead Farrah through the invasion of Levinas in 488 AQ, reuniting the country after almost 200 years of division. She ruled in an open society, allowing the citizenry a voice in decision making processes and rebalancing the power of the Lords and the people. Esmerelda even encouraged increase rights for the Gnomish underclasses. Esmerelda's power was broken during El Noche Triste, when numerous nobles were killed by the Golden Sons gang. A few days later her son Prince Aleski was also assassinated. Wracked by grief and having had most of her noble supporters killed, Esmerelda abdicated in 496 AQ. Her last surviving daughter, Stephanie, was only 7, so a regent was selected. Esmerelda stayed neutral in the campaign, and the General of the Armies, Occam, was selected as her daughter's regent.
Esmerelda lives still in the Royal Palace at Kimbol and occasionally provides counsel to her daughter, the Queen.
