Session 26

General Summary

The Guardians awake and explore the Dark of Koartkulle. They explore the barracks on the other side of the entrance hall and find almost nothing except for what seem to be the Dwarves of Koartkulle turned to stone.
They continue deeper down the enterance hall and find themselves standing at the fenced off ledge, they look to see the path spirals down toward the bottom and at the bottom something was pulsating light. They look up and see a grand crystal suspended at the top of the spiral and Carl get's an intrusive thought of shooting it down.
After a few hours they find Langnok and Talia in a side chamber suspended by webbing, The Guardians are then ambushed by some Cave Fishers which they promptly defeat, after which they free their companions. They send Langnok back up to the entrance.
They keep going down and and eventually they come across some Flame headed enemies name Azer which then almost kill them. The then find a small house and take a long rest. During the long rest, Xavier and Carl decide to go soul searching again in Carl's chest. it is discovered that Carl was married to Lydia, a Pallid Elf member of the Alliance of the Mighty, it would appear that this was the day after their wedding and that they were off to take the fight to The Draconic Discourse in the morning.
The Guardians awake and continue down the last leg of the spiral, they have to climb over a flood of stoned Dwarves and make it into the central chamber. They find a glowing Dodecahedron in the center and are then met with a tall lovecraftian figure calling herself Malkezar, The Mother of Monsters. She calls the dodecahedron one of her experiments and i cannot be destroyed, however she poses the Guardians a challenge. If they defeat he latest creation then they will be able to destroy the dodecahedron.
They agree and as Malkezar disappears from their sight a monstrous 3-headed dog jumps into the central chamber that initiative is rolled.
After a long battle they are successful in felling the Underworld Cerberus they hear a crack and Siofra takes a shot at the Dodecahedron cause an explosion of light. The light then travels up the city freeing the residents of Koartkulle and allowing light to refract through the crystal once again.
The now freed King Steinvider gifts the Party to gold and a new bow for Siofra he then sets up some teleportation circles allowing the Guardians to teleport back to Pasuri Veil. Talia teleports back to Armunia Kratero.
Upon the Guardians arrival they are met with suprise from Daniel and the rest of the former resistance as they inform the Guardians that they have been away for 90 days. it is currently Zimastrata aka Unification Day in Fartharia.
To the Guardians surprise, Wembly greets them all with a hug and gifts Communication Earrings of her own creation and a freaking Airship!!
Thus Ends Session 26...
