Session 4

General Summary

Chaos in Vattendevin.

After the advisor falls back Dead, some of the party takes a defensive stance while the others take cover. Carl looks where he thinks the sound came from and sees, what looks to be, some Ruins on the side of the mountain. After a Time, and no second shot being fired, the party begins investigating.

They find nothing on the reverted body and decide to investigate the advisor's house. Siofra enters through the chimney while Xavier attempts to break the door down, unsuccessfully.

Carl asks the mayor if he has keys and as he fumbles through his massive key ring, Carl then takes out his gun and shoots out the lock.

At the same time Siofra slips and falls out of the fireplace causing ash and soot to scatter everywhere.

After thoroughly searching the house the party finds the house is in a state of uncleanness. Almost as if the person living here was nervous, maybe even paranoid. They manage to find a note that reads as follows:

'Morgan…

If Mission successful, please return to our usual meeting spot to debrief.

If not… you know the consequences.

We can have no loose ends.

What we do. We do for our survival.

The Party asks the mayor about the Ruins on the hill and he reveals that those Ruins might be an old watchtower built after the uniting.

The Party decides that they should check out the Ruins the following morning. They share some drinks, personal histories and rest up in the tavern.

The next morning they have breakfast and a Rabbitfolk messenger arrives out of breath, bruised and bloodied to deliver a message to Xavier.

The Party, following the mayor's directions, heads east towards Armunia Kratero, find the remnants of a long forgotten path and begin to follow it north into the forest.

After and hour and a half of traveling they begin to hear clicking and see things in the trees.

A giant spider reveals itself up the path from the party and one jumps out of the trees closer behind.

After defeating the Giant Spiders they take a short rest and continue up the path.

They reach a clearing with the Ruins just beyond. Upon entering the clearing a gunshot Rings out as Xavier is hit in the leg.

A second shot is fired…

Thus ends Session 4.
