The importance of an Eclipse

It is widely believed that Soleil and Nottlune are not only the God of the Sun and Goddess of the moon respectively, but that they are actually the sun and moon. Nobody truely knows why but it is also widely believed that the reason the sun a moon move seperatly across the sky is because long ago Soleil and Nottlune were cursed to forever chase each other across the sky only to finally reunite for a short while as an eclipse every 18 months.
