Bartholomew Twinforks arrived in Fates Haven, beaten down, exhausted, but full of hope. He looked at a young town as an opportunity to make something of himself, looking to become the greatest merchant the region had known. That’s the funny thing about looking though, you might find the unexpected.
Instead of riches, and fame, what Bart found was something much more important. He found a home. A place where he could be loved and he could love in return. Whether it was teaching his hopeless “sister” Mathos the ways of foraging in the woods, flying over the waves with his friend Miz’na, or falling in love under the stars on the beach.
Bart made memories, memories that would ultimately outlast him. His first death had changed everything for him, he fought hard to regain what he had, to return to the man he’d loved that he became. That battle is over now. Now Bart has something else he never thought he’d have again, quiet.
