Siouxsie Crowe Revealed

A Portal to the Shadowfell Opens...

Following a series of attacks that had approached closer to the city walls than before, Ryder leaves the city in the early evening to scout, ordering Tony to bring the archer squad to the North Gate. As he flies over the bluffs he spots something near the city, and sends a flaming arrow into the Linstead Watchtower to raise the alarm.
Meanwhile, a group have gathered at the gate after hearing the archers move past, and they all see the watchtower catch fire.

The clouds draw over the North Gate and there's a crackling in the air as forked lightning searches for it's first victim.
It strikes an on old bridge in front of the group a little way away, but rather than an explosion of sparks, a small purple void appears and crackles with Arcane energy as it starts expanding slowly in the centre of the bridge.

Siouxsie's Forces

A small but challenging squad of Drow warriors and mages, as well as a number of Catoblepas, emerge from the portal and begin to move towards the gate. Those gathered work to defend the gate and drive the forces back, until...

Siouxsie: A voice calls out from the void. "Where are you, Dog?"
Ryder: "I'M RIGHT HERE BITCH!" Ryder becomes enraged and gives away his position as he reveals himself.
Siouxsie: She smiles in his direction and beckons with one finger.

The North Gate

The fight continues, with many of the group falling to a combination of poisonous gas and lightning, until Siouxsie makes her demands known.

Soiuxsie: "This can all end if you just hand over the ones I want. Ryder Nightshade and Allora Valie. Give them to me and I leave you all be."

One by one, the fallen are revived with magic and potions, and the group manage to rally, turning the battle in their favour. Siouxsie is struck by a bolt of lightning from the overhead storm, and retreats, casting Dimension Door to escape and regroup.
With Siouxsie gone, the portal to the Shadowfell begins to shrink, much quicker than the speed it opened at. The group manage to dispatch of the remaining drow, and take a moment to recover.

Seryt, Bringer of Shadow

As they stand on the battlefield, a shadow flies overhead, filling the sky with black flames and letting out a deafening roar.

Seryt: "Give up the ones called Allora and Ryder. I'll be back to collect. Run along now little miceeee." She hisses.

The North Gate

With her demands made, Seryt begins to circle overhead as the group rush through the gates, running to take shelter in the Dancing Kobold Inn, and try to figure out their next steps.
