The Deep

The Deep includes the waters that surround Fearann ùr, though further ashore than most. Whilst the shallows, and stretches of water between islands (Nishima, Snorjoro, etc.) and the mainland, are safe for boats and travel — the Deep is a different story.
The Deep has yet to be explored, yet stories float around every region within Fearann ùr. Beasts the size of countries, tidal waves that peak taller than mountains. Any and all fears are realised within the confines of the Deep, yet nobody is sure of the truth.
In reality, all of it is true. There are creatures that roam the Deep who have sizes that are hard to fathom. There are storms that can tear through an armada of ships in mere seconds. Though most importantly, 'The Beast That Beckons' roams.
