Drow

Drow aren't naturally evil and are more concerned with the inner workings of the earth and are often found in the locations of the Quelling machinery.
They are not a distinct race, more of an ethnicity and culture. They are a mixture of elven and other cultures. 
The drow were predominantly underground dwellers leading them to tend to be lighter skinned. They were driven back to the surface by tectonic movement and reintegrated into surface society.
There are splinter groups of drow who are linked to the spider queen, Lolth.
