A large ruby-like crystal hidden away in a pocket dimension with the access stone held by Mae Greenbrook for safe keeping for Vondur Thalrik. A source of power for devils that has lead to Vondur being kidnapped and interrogated by both Tchort and Neamaz in Maladomini.
Research by Ziz at the Hall of Knowledge in Galehaven gleaned the following information:

• The Heart is mentioned as one of three shards of a device (along with a Blue Crystal called Grave Stone and a Yellow Crystal called the Origin Stone) that seems to form energy to keep the The Abyssal Plane) open. The device allows incursions by demons into The Material Plane.
• The fights between Kesmut and Tarset created the void while the device keeps the void open.
