Ranasday (Tuesday), Orastanna 23rd (Afternoon)

The party met up at the Dog & Rose Tavern to talk about the results of Haara's work at her guild and the investigations at the University Library. Afterwards, they went to the City Hall in order to further look into the family tree found at the von Morrin mansion, specifically to look into the marriage between Hleofar the Stranger and Duchess Magana.
At the City Hall, they found that the marriage certificate is not in the city records. It seems likely that the marriage took place outside of Dern.
They also witnessed part of a council meeting, during which the Lord Fiscal, Count Karle Orlan, and his supporters opposed suggestions by the Lord Admiral and Lord Marshal to increase funding for the military, which frustrated the Duchess. 
Before leaving the City Hall, the party was able to touch base with Lord Gianos to pass along some of their findings, and he asks them to follow Orlan and investigate him.
