Bekwick

Bekwick is the ancient seat of Northern power, the cultural focus of the Kingdom of Bek and the center of the old Empire. It lays between the River Bekka and Lake Bekka, and its courts are renown for their dangerous intrigues and plots as well as the ostentatious rituals that are a relic of Bek's days of glory.
Most of the buildings are made of dark stone and appear brooding and gloomy from the outside, although higher status buildings have opulent interiors with rich tapestries, ornate tiled floors, and lush cushions.
