The Deres Clan Genealogy

A history of the Deres family, including its cadet branches. Official copies are held at the castle and the city hall, and are updated by the city clerks in the Department of Records and the ducal scribes at the castle. It is a record of all the marriages, births, reigns, and deaths of members of the House of Deres, including its cadet branches. Other copies are held at the City Temple, the Temples of Aohr and Irdal, and at the University. Other copies my be help by other members of the House of Deres, such as Baron Treno von Morrin. Treno is descended from 3 lines of the Deres family (the Derent, Deranna, and Adomer lines) and his wife is decended from two (the Adomer and Longthorn lines). The Duchal lineage of Dern is traced through the heirs of the Derent line and the most senior member of this line by descent, regardless of gender, is considered to be the head of the Deres clan. Currently, that is Risa Deres, Duchess of Dern.
The book includes history, which may or may not be entirely factual, since the beginning of the Deres rule, prior to the Bekian invasion of Dern, when the Deres family ruled as kings rather than as dukes.
