Charmed
A charmed creature has been magically subjected to the will of an outside force, whether through the use of a spell, ability, or the use of an item or substance. A charmed creature usually can’t attack the charmer, or target the charmer with harmful abilities or magical effects. The charmer will typically have advantage on any ability check to interact socially with the creature.
Charms are associated with the Enchantment school of magic. The most common types of charms are ones that simply bolster the caster's chances of leaving a positive (or neutral) impression on their target, and often come with the drawback of being obvious to the target once the duration of the effect is over. However, enchantments can be both more subtle and more severe, with some targets having the totality of their actions being dominated by another creature's will, without even being aware they were under an undue effect.
