Empyrean

Empyreans are the celestial children of the gods of the Upper Plane. They are universally beautiful, statuesque, and self-assured.   An Empyrean can experience deity-like fits of serenity or rage. These fits can affect the environment surrounding the Empyrean. The clouds might cry tears of salt water, wildflowers in surrounding mountains might wilt, or a nearby forest might lose the leaves from its trees when an Empyrean is unhappy. On the other end of the spectrum, a jubilant Empyrean may be followed everywhere by sunlight, small animals frolicking in its footsteps, or birds filling the sky with their pleasant songs.   These powerful emotions have been recorded as affecting nearby mortals as well, whose own moods and expressions mirrored those of the Empyrean.
