The Garden of Eden

"They shouldn't call it that. It's blasphemous. The good Lord didn't come down here for us to name hell after His backyard."

Geography

Found in the valley of Old Man Canyon, the Garden of Eden is home to a medley of unrealistic plant growth and abnormalities. Standing in stark contrast to its environment, Eden is rumored to be the home and a byproduct of the Devil. These rumors began after the first waves of settlers attempted to carve out homes for themselves at the bottom of the gorge, the few survivors returning with smoke-white hair. While seemingly unharmed, they claimed to have witnessed Satan in the canyon, the fear stripping their hair of color.

Fauna & Flora

Despite the societal paranoia surrounding Old Man Canyon, traders and merchants have discovered the plants of Eden to be profoundly potent against toxins and capable of various medicinal uses.

Milk Berries

Red berries similar in appearance and texture to fruit belonging on Holly trees. Described as having a bite to them, Milk berries are a hallucinogen used first by Mabel, who claims the berries help her hunt at night and "slow things down". Fairly common to come by and not in high demand.

Party Balls

Bright pink flowers filled with glowing, sparkling pollen that can be used in a variety of ways. Having no known medicinal purposes, these flowers are rare to come by and moderately expensive. Settlements closest to Old Man Canyon are more likely to stock Party Balls but select merchants in Bardwell have been known to sell them for outrageous prices, the dense hunter population requiring other, more useful weapons.
