Aves

The Aves are a collection of several tribes of Lethe granted that were granted the blessings of beast blood from four various winged animals, resulting in four different distinct species, whose appearances and abilities each vary. As a whole, the Aves have a very high standing/reputation amongst other Lethe and are well known for their intelligence, influence, and combat potential.

Corvidae

The Corvidae are Aves who were granted the blessings of the cunning raven. Their blessings manifest in the form of a pair of large jet-black wings sprouting from their back, as well as an uncanny ability to mimic the voices of those around them. Though the Aves as a whole are all known for their intelligence, the Ravens are a cut above the rest. They are known for their scheming, as well as their lust for wealth. Their skills make them formidable politicians and negotiators for the Aves.

Harpinae

The Harpinae are Lethe that was granted the beast blood of the might hawk. Their blessings manifest in the form of a large - usually brown - pair of wings that sprout from their back. Despite their appearance, they have also been granted exceptional eyesight. Very little can escape their gaze, and as a result, Harpinae are primarily thought of as a race of notable scouts and warriors.   The Harpinae tend to be a bit more straightforward than the rest of the Aves. They tend not to care for scheming, and come off as far more approachable as a result.

Strigidae

The Strigidae are Aves who were granted the beast blood of the wise Owl. Their blessings manifest in the form of large spotted wings sprouting from their back. These wings are particularly notable amongst the Aves as they are not only larger, but are also made of unique feathers that help them to fly silently through the sky. Though the eyes themselves are not too notable from a purely aesthetic point of view, they grant superior visual acuity, as well as night vision.   A more perceptive individual might notice that the Strigidae never actually turn their eyes. This is due to the fact that they actually must turn their head in order to change the scope of their vision.   Thanks to their skills, the Strigidae often work in tandem with Hawks as warriors and scouts, though they typically take on more stealthy roles thanks to their unique wings. They do tend to be a bit more introspective than the other Aves however. They are very articulate and deliberate, and much like the Electrophorus, make for excellent mediators thanks to their demeanor. Despite their capabilities as warriors, many Strigidae find themselves drawn to more scholarly roles.
