Roots of All Evil

Appeared as roots that came from the center of planet, they’re described as tall like piercing the sky. Each root created a portal filled with “demons” (real demon? Corrupted angel? Monster?), as one closer to the roots, the bigger and stronger the demons were. These roots also distorted space, one of the phenomena was inverted building (from sky), falling cars, raining blood etc. The portal could grow bigger as the time passed.
