Shelter of Livings

Orphan caretaker (woman) got an “Idol” that gave food for the children, since no one wanted to help. The “idol” is cursed, calling calamity to the town. The calamity made townsfolk insane and mindless, as an act for forgiveness, they burned the caretaker with the idol (hope the curse lifted). The children who survived the calamity (ran away), became “Marked”. If they didn’t kill someone (who has soul), they would die the next day. While the town, now infected by the calamity, the people became mindless and restless beings, killed anyone for sacrifice to the “Idol” (the idol not destroyed). And the woman became a monster (as she rose from the ashes of the dead), as The Calamity.
