The Plague

Alternate “Earth” like world named Ether. Like Earth, has lives, technology etc. One day, an incident happened caused by gas leaked. The gas was spread across the world, created from “raw Corruption energy” that fallen thousand years ago (in a shape of meteor). The gas had an effect to “somehow” fulfilled “the needs” of the person, who had “strong will but weak at heart”. Basically to do anything, to be anything, to fulfill his/her reason. This gas created people who are weak into mindless monsters, “Broken”, came from “broken dream” from society but demand changes, people who had weak will because the society guided them as “machine”. But some who had strong will born as “Desires”. This incident also created humanity last defense “Etherian Last Force/ELF” Some notable “Desire”;

Mr.Chain & Saw

Best friends. Both were bullied because “Chain” had big body, but a mind of a child, a victim of domestic violence. The only one he cared was his mother, who died in an accident, she was the one who taught him how to do chores (especially cooking) also made him a doll. While “Saw” was his best friend, their meeting happened after “Chain” was bullied and his doll was torn apart, he was the one who fixed it. He had good craftsmanship especially sewing, he also targeted for bullying. Their lives changed when “Saw” accidently killed one of the bullies, due to anger and saw them as “useless”, mutilated him and gave it for the dogs (the bully loved so much). This event made them fugitives, until the police found them at the park, put them at point blank, then the “incident” happened. The “incident” caused “Mr.Chain” to be humongous, monstrous like form, about 4 meters, while “Saw” became slimmer and had claws, both with their mind still intact, only with grudges, hatred and little emotions left.

The Plague Doctors

Consist of figures with a bird-like mask and a long robe like the one used for Black Plague, the one who caused “the incident” as an experiment, as a test for humanity. The black one were the main figures, while the white one were the assistants and they’re numerous (more than 100). Their job were to observe the effect of the gas, and prevent it from being disturbed. They’re also “Desire”, but with combination of nanotech + bioengineering from the “Corruption”. Their true desire were to remove all plague (humanity), and create new utopia free of “plague” (weak will or weak heart).
