Fire Banded Groulet

Fire Banded Groulet – This large tree fungus grows on the side of large trees in the Ranzin forest. Similar to chicken of the forest this fungus is eatable and often used in large meals. This fungus is one of the largest in the forest and grows quickly. It gains its name for the taste of the meat being similar to spotted groulet. It has a wide orange band on its outside with a thin red band just inside of that giving a look something like fire.
