Giant Ground Endry

Giant Ground Endry –
A large flightless bird farmed for its meat and eggs. (Emu/Pheasant cross) It has large fluffy tail feathers often raised in a plume in defense but also used in mating dances. The birds do not lay eggs often but almost seasonally. The eggs thick shell often collected and ground up for alchemists use or carved for art. The egg itself is used in cooking or in and of itself as a meal. The meat is often divided as breast meat and the rest is often ground into sausage with the organ meats cased in its own intestines. This sausage is often smoked and sold during festivals. The large tail feathers are often used in dress and ceremonial cloaks. The colors of the feathers range from dark green and brown to off white and light orange.
