Gnarledthorn

Gnarledthorn - A variety of plant that grows on Ferrum. It has a strength close to steel and if treated properly it becomes as strong as steel. It is very difficult to carve or shape. But the goblins of Ferrum have a natural way with this weed. They have found a way to shape the shrubbery as it grows then treat it for strength after harvesting. The shapes it is grown in is nearly endless. But the most common are the weapon varieties. The Tanglethorn orc tribe has discovered this secret from captured goblins. They only grow weapons and homes with it. The goblins have even been known to grow ships that still live to repair damage.
