Shroud Chameleon

Shroud Chameleon – this creature is similar to a normal chameleon with two exceptions. This creature is connected to the plane of shadow in some way and allows it to not only turn all of its colors but black as well. The second exception is its ability to when threatened at night or twilight to cast small shadow globes to hide. Some early or primitive tribes call this a “tree squid” as it is something like a squid with ink when getting away. When used as a familiar the shroud chameleon offers a +1 DC on shadow based spells.
