Æddon, Virtue of Beauty
Æddon is often one of the more 'forgotten' Virtues, yet is more personified than the others. Noted by some as responsible for the Elemental Ring, many Elemental Cultists often pay her tribute. However, Æddon is actually thought to be far removed from *any* invention of the Ether, instead embodying the Ether's purities. Considered the 'soul' of the world's beauty-- both natural and manmade-- Æddon is thought to live inside everything beautiful, from the smallest of tree branches to the widest of mountain ranges. Those who offer beauty to Æddon are looked upon in high regard, and often called selfless, virtuous, or of beautiful soul. The vain, however, often pray to Æddon for selfish reasons, though most find no fruition to their desires. In fact, prayer to Æddon *in such a way* is frowned upon so much so that it's considered in many cultures as a surefire way toward the bottom of the social ladder. Despite the occasional association with narcissists and cultists, Æddon remains as sacred as the rest.
