Navven, the Guidance

Navven is quite often considered to be the first Celestial, and of course it was they whom guided the others from Astral Dissonance into reality. It is unsaid how Navven came into this sphere (though there are many theories), but there is no veritable way to ever know. Not unless Navven themself were to guide us to the truth.

Navven in the Book of Veltan

In the book of Veltan, Navven is the one to guide the other Empyreans into substance. After revealing the potential of the Ether that these other Empyreans create, they wish to see it destroyed, thus spurring Navven and Hreth to protect it. The pair create spirits to fulfill its potential. Eventually, Navven creates the Empyrean Halos to keep the others from interfering with the Ether. Then, Navven binds themself to Purgatory and Hreth to Inferno, each purposed with protecting the Ether.

The "First Celestial" is often depicted as a ball of light, a bright star, or a glowing humanoid silhouette.
