FFVI: Shattered Realms

A special thanks to Pierce Brown and his Red Rising Series. As one of the best space opera series that explores a new avenue of humanist principles, it served as the basis of lore for this game. While there are some similarities, much has been changed in terms of history, locations, names, etc. Still, we would be remiss if we did not shout out Mr. Brown and encourage you to read the books.

"What we do, we do for the glory of our family, our planet, and Gold."

Welcome to Final Frontier VI, a Shattered Realm. The culmination of years of games, from the FF Saga to the DUS Gap Games, reaching as far back as RP games on Warzone, has lead to wwhat will be the premier game we hope you find enjoyment in as you pour your heart and soul into your decisions. Decisions you will make for the glory of your name. Rule planets. Destroy Enemies. Do whatever you must for the reasons you decide.   FFVI is a change from previous iterations. It is best described as a Character-based Map Game with borderline RP involved (for those new to it) to full fledged RP (for those who want it). You lead a House, your House. Without your House, you are nothing. For a Gold can own all the cities on all the spheres, but absent their honor they are not but dust in the wind.   Mechanics have changed. Sheets will present a visual for your use as a representative organizational tracker of your House's holdings. Unlike many games, this is not a game where you must balance to survive. Rather, you will conduct events, engage in diplomacy, stab enemies, conquer cities, all to ensure your rise. The sheets are only your dataPad to view your own Glory.   Now we know you've all heard this before, so we shall give a few concrete examples. First, there are no purchases of buildings or buffs. Everything comes from your events and the growth of your characters. Second, there is no tech tree, ancient alien exciting pistols, or maguffins. The only way to gain power in the manner you decide best is to do so by your own hands. And finally, there is a world. A world you live in and must abide by. Breaking the compact is to declare rebellion against all. But the compact can be read in many various ways, so perhaps you'll find a loophole.   A special thanks to the Admin Team who assist with this. We understand this is a change from the previous FF's, but we hope its a change you grow to enjoy more than all the previous ones. It is always our goal to give you a game you can watch your growth and take pride in. So let's see you grow in this era of Shattered Realms.
