Guri

Little is known of the Guri, but it is said that no Fincyaran has found their way to their island, made it up the Ebon Cliffs, and returned to tell of it. The Ebon Cliffs are said to be hundreds of meters tall, such that no mortal could ascend without the secrets of the Guri.
The Guri are master sailors and tradesman. They bring multitudes of exotics from the far west. They trade primarily with the Eclaxian people, easily affording the exorbitant tolls to use the intricate cliffside ship lifts and avoiding the questionable trade routes from Preutho through Nublus and into Eclax. The pirates of the Stellin Gulf tend to avoid Guri ships, knowing they have little chance of catching up to them and commandeering their goods.
