Order of the Seekers

In the vibrant tapestry of the Reborn Kingdom of Avocath, the Order of the Seekers shines as a unique blend of religious order and adventurer's guild. Founded on the principles of knowledge, sanctity, and exploration, the Order dedicates itself to the recovery and preservation of sacred relics, ancient texts, and holy sites that have been lost or corrupted by time and turmoil.   The Order of the Seekers is driven by a divine mandate to gather and protect artifacts of religious and historical significance. Its members, ranging from scholarly priests to hardened adventurers, scour the ruins of ancient temples, delve into forgotten crypts, and traverse forbidden landscapes to reclaim these treasures from the clutches of darkness. They also work to sanctify places that have been desecrated, performing rituals that cleanse and restore the sacred aura of these sites.   Structured much like a traditional religious order, the Seekers are led by a Grandmaster, a position held by a senior member elected by their peers for their wisdom and proven dedication to the Order’s cause. Beneath the Grandmaster, various ranks and roles exist, each tailored to the specific skills and vocations of its members—from historians and archivists to warriors and spellcasters. This hierarchy ensures that each member can contribute effectively to the collective goals, whether in research, combat, or divine rites.   The Order operates from a central monastery which houses not only the living quarters and training facilities but also vast archives that store the knowledge and relics they have secured. These archives are not merely storage spaces but active research centers where members study the lore and powers of their findings, seeking ways to aid the kingdom and further the light of understanding and sanctity.   Their quest for holy artifacts often puts them at odds with dark cults and greedy treasure hunters, making their missions perilous yet vital for maintaining the balance of sacred and profane powers in the world. Despite the dangers, the Order’s dedication remains unwavering, driven by a deep belief that the recovery and safeguarding of these divine relics will bring enlightenment and protection to the kingdom and beyond.   Current Quest Giver: Brother Markus Teldryn
