Amto
Amto or amto berries are the fruit of the Lipanus iron-thorn shrub and are cultivated for both their taste and medicinal value.
The species is native to the Spiral Forest of the Nuali region south the Balelands. Though the shrub has been starting to appear north of there on the other side of the Crystal Bay sea in the southernmost Balelands.

Uses, Products & Exploitation
Amto berries are prized for their nutty, yet sweet flavor in dishes. The berry is rich in vitamins and fiber. It has long been a primary ingredient for medicine in the Nuali region to combat seasonal congestion and as part of Iduc cream used to stem blood loss from cuts or similar wounds.
