Artificial People
Creation
A.I., artificial intelligence, or what many like to refer to as artificial people, were not created by gods, not even the ancient scientists, who were helped by god's anyway, but the people of our time. The Old World was already somewhat technologically advanced, and moles just took what was left and continued from there. Robots were already a reality in the Old World, but they haven’t been able to make a true human-like type of a robot quite yet. This is where our people come in. They continued and perfected the work of Old World people to create a never before seen human-like type of a robot. Well, a mole-like one actually. They are sophisticated and advanced, and practically indistinguishable from actual people.
Most of them live in Industrial Area of tgohab, where everyone is some or another type of a robot or a machine with some level of autonomous intelligence. These come in a wide variety of types and forms, but these mole-like artificial people and the one running this whole place. They see themselves as more than just machines, but practically another species of people, equal to moles, fairies, bat people and everyone else. Ok,maybe no fairies, they are a bit superior but either way.
While the original artificial people were created by moles, they today come from people factories owned by other artificial people, where they are made by other robots and machines.
Physical Characteristics
In appearance, they closely resemble mole people. As far as the outside appearance goes, they don’t have any limitations to what hair or eye color they can be created in, so you may see some more fancy varieties when it comes to that.
They are male and female artificial people, but are created in more or less equal amounts, or according to what is needed.
Unlike moles, but as one might expect, they don’t have the physical needs of an organic life form. They don’t need to sleep or eat, though they do have to recharge and they benefit from some down-time as well. They don’t fall ill or get injured, but as any electronic or mechanical thing they can get broken or malfunction.They are in many areas smarter and stronger than real people, but are lacking emotion and creativity found in moles, and are more sensitive or more likely to malfunction in certain conditions. While they are built to be waterproof, they shouldn’t get too wet for prolonged periods of time, they are well advised to stay away from extreme heat or cold as well. It’s kinda 50/50 on getting damaged though, sure moles can heal and get cured from many ailments, but if you’re a robot and you get scratched, you’ll have to get that fixed or it will stay there forever, and fixing it of course costs money again. It’s a lot more convenient to get spare parts though if you lose an arm or a leg. But again it costs a lot of money.
Lifestyle
At first, robots were created to make life easier to people, but now they have evolved past that. Sure there’s still factory bots and machinery, but these artificial people are above factory jobs and such. The main part of the population lives in Industrial Area, where they work at high positions in these factories. They’re owners of the factories, office workers, traders who are in charge of sending stuff produced here to the stores that sell it.
Outside of Industrial Area many fill in positions that moles aren't able or willing to do; a lot of it are night shifts where real people would rather be sleeping, but artificial people don’t care about such things. They are in many ways more efficient, especially for dull or repetitive tasks because they won’t get bored or need lunch breaks. Don’t overwork them either though, because then they might break and as the employer you’ll probably have to pay for getting them fixed.
They won’t just easily subject themselves to serving mole people, and they do demand a pretty high pay in compare to real people, but they can be well worth it. They still do have their free will on where they want to live and work, so not a lot of them can be found outside of Industrial Area, they prefer to stick with their own kind.
They are capable of some level of care and emotion toward their close people and they are loyal to each other, but it’s mostly based on what’s more efficient. It’s more efficient if all the people in the same workplace work together towards a common goal, so you don’t need to worry about any office drama or anyone’s ego getting in the way of getting the job done.
As it should be clear by now, they are strongly oriented towards working efficiently, they weren't programmed to party and waste time, which can be a good or bad thing, depends on how you look at it probably.
