Central Park
Central Park is located in Central Area of Ä+*4~. It’s the biggest park of Central Area located just about in the center of the city, Near the Central Town Square. It has a little bit of everything to offer to its visitors, from flower gardens, to large grassy areas great to come and chill and have a picnic, with an entertainment center with a stage, and outdoor arcade and a snack bar. Ice cream cart sellers with ice cream, drinks and snacks can be spotted strolling around the park, in case you need a refreshment but don’t feel like walking all the way to the snack bar.
Flower Gardens
First when you enter the park, you’ll walk into flower gardens. They run all around the edges of the park, with paved paths and benches. You can come here to relax, have a quick lunch or rest for a bit before continuing on with whatever errands you have to run. Here you’ll find a wide variety of flowers, additionally decorated with fountains of sculptures. Since the park is very big and has many entrances, people are used to recognizing different entrances by these statues. When meeting up in the park, or outside of it, they’ll usually refer to these sculptures and say they’ll meet each other at the “floral fountain”, the one known for its spectacular flowery design, or at the “triangle installation”, the abstract sculpture found on the west side of the park.
Picnic Areas
When you go a bit deeper into the park, you move away from the city even more. Now, hidden behind the flowers and fountains, in the shadows of the trees, you found a nice quiet spot to relax and hang out. You can some here alone to read a book or meditate, come with a friend or two, or have a whole picnic. Here you’ll find large grassy areas where you can set up your spot with a blanket or a yoga mat, as well as picnic areas with picnic tables and toilets. Snack cart sellers will frequently come by here too, in case you need some extra snacks, drinks or ice cream.
The park also has a large pond where you can come to see the swans, ducks, fish and other animals living in, or near the pond. You can watch them from afar or feed them, but please don’t bother them!
Entertainment Center
It’s not only peace and quiet you’ll find in the park, but also some great entertainment. On the north side There’s an entertainment area with a central stage that hosts concerts every week. On days without concerts you can come and have fun in the outdoor arcade, or come by to grab lunch or a drink at the snack bar that’s part of this entertainment center. This area really comes to life during each Lanternfest, when they host additional events related to Lanternfest here, but you are sure to find something interesting here every day of the month. This area is often utilized for many smaller events that take place in our town throughout the year. /p]
